In order to simplify and streamline the claims process, a protocol for settling water damage claims was established under the APS and DADA.
The DADA form is essential and must be completed by the claimant immediately upon filing claim they discover damage to their home for which a third party may be liable.
The document does not constitute an admission of liability, but it expedites the insurer’s handling of the claim
