About Caravela Seguros
Caravela Seguros is the result of the purchase of Macif's French operations in Portugal. The purchase was supported by a holding company, AAA SGPS, with Portuguese investors who are "specialists in insurance distribution".
Caravela intends to continue increasing its activity in the traditional insurance distribution channels, i.e. with intermediaries, agents, mediation companies and brokers, but also in association with other social and economic players.
To this end, Caravela has been carrying out a vigorous investment in human and financial resources, which will lead to the renewal of Caravela, elevating it to the category of medium-sized insurer.
