About Fidelidade
Fidelidade and Império Bonança merged in 2012 and are now Fidelidade.
The company's history dates back to 1808 with the founding of Bonança. In 1835, Companhia de Seguros Fidelidade was founded. Over the course of these 175 years, there have been several moments that have marked the activity of the companies that are at its origin: mergers, nationalization and subsequent privatization, expansion into new markets, and, ultimately, new strategies. The name Fidelidade is the result of the 2002 merger of the insurance companies Fidelidade Mundial Confiança.
This was followed in 2012 by the merger of Fidelidade and Império Bonança, giving rise to Fidelidade Companhia de Seguros, S.A.
