What is Allianz Dental Insurance?
It's a cheap insurance policy, which guarantees preventive stomatology and other treatments at a low cost, and now with the novelty that it allows you to use the network of eye prostheses and orthotics.
Oral health plays a key role in overall health and quality of life. Untreated dental problems can cause severe pain, difficulty chewing, speech impairments, and may even contribute to the development or worsening of other diseases.
Dental insurance allows for more frequent routine checkups and treatments, significantly reducing the cost to the insured. This makes it easier to maintain good oral hygiene and prevent problems that, if ignored, can result in much more expensive treatments.
In addition, having access to a network of participating clinics means benefiting from prices that have been agreed upon in advance and are known to you, avoiding surprises at the time of payment.
What is it for and how much does it cost?
The insurance is Dental from the Allianz Insurance Company and for €7 a month, it offers prevention, i.e. cleaning, scaling and fluoride application. This is the best part of the insurance. By taking out preventive care regularly (once or twice a year) you can avoid major problems, which can lead to the treatment, removal and replacement of teeth and cost a lot of money.
You could say that insurance "forces" you to have preventive care, even though it doesn't force you to do anything, but if you're paying for it, you usually feel obliged to go and have preventive care, so you can keep your teeth healthy year after year.
In the network you have access to agreed prices, according to the following table (the amounts indicated will be borne by the insured person in 2021).
Prevention remains the best investment in oral health.
By undergoing regular preventive checkups, you can significantly reduce the likelihood of needing more complex treatments, such as root canals, extractions, or dental implants.

This coverage makes it easy to find a provider near your home or workplace, making it easier to schedule appointments and receive regular oral health care.

Can the family be included?
Yes, you can and you should. For each additional person, the additional premium goes down, because the discount increases. Children up to and including the age of 13 do not pay for insurance, as long as they are on the same policy as family members.
Other alternatives
There are other companies that have this type of insurance. This is the simplest (it has no other associated cover) and cheapest.
