Coverage
Civil Liability
Coverage for property damage and personal injury caused to third parties during the provision of services.
Personal Accidents
Protection of participants in the event of an accident during organized activities.

- Civil Liability: 50,000 €
- Death or Permanent Disability: €25,544.81
- Treatment Expenses: 4,471.53 €
Activities Not Covered by Insurance
The following activities are not covered under the General Liability policy:
- Sightseeing cruises;
- Boat rentals, with or without a crew;
- River taxi service;
- Sport fishing;
- Use of jet skis;
- Banana boat rides, parasailing, or water skiing.
The following, among others, are excluded from Personal Accident coverage:
- Scuba diving;
- Skydiving;
- Paragliding;
- Hang glider;
- Cliff diving;
- Electric bicycle and scooter rentals;
- Scooters and hoverboards;
- Natural Disasters and Acts of Terrorism, as provided for in the general terms and conditions.
Classification of Activities
To issue the policy, you must select one of the following activity categories:
Tourism Activities 1
It is intended for lower-risk activities, specifically:
- Hiking trails;
- Tours in light passenger vehicles;
- Team-building activities;
- Low-risk sports (Types 1 and 2);
- Uber, Bolt, and similar services.
Age limit: 90 years old.
Tourism Activities 2
It is intended for higher-risk activities, including:
- Extreme sports;
- Use of motor vehicles;
- Horseback riding;
- Mountaineering;
- High-risk sports (Type 3).
Age limit: 75 years old.
Legal Framework
Tourism entertainment companies are subject to the legal framework set forth in Decree-Law No. 108/2009, as amended by Decree-Laws No. 95/2013, No. 149/2014, and No. 186/2015. The law requires these companies to register with the RNAAT and to purchase insurance that ensures the protection of participants and third parties.
