The Multicare Standard Coverage is a health insurance plan from Fidelidade meets the standard conditions defined by the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF). Designed to provide essential coverage, it includes up to €300,000 for conditions under Extended Coverage, €30,000 for Hospitalization, and €1,000 for Consultations, Tests, and Treatments (Outpatient), in addition to Online Medical Services and Preventive Medicine.

1. Hospitalization (Coverage Limit: 30,000€)
Multicare Standard Protection provides Hospitalization coverage with a coverage amount of €30,000, designed to help cover expenses associated with hospitalization whenever medical care in a hospital setting is necessary.
This coverage also includes protection in the event of childbirth, emergency transportation, and non-emergency transportation, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the policy. Use of this coverage requires prior authorization from Multicare.
2. Medical Appointments, Tests, and Treatments (Limit: 1,000€)
The insurance includes coverage for doctor visits, tests, and treatments (outpatient care) with a benefit limit of €1,000, providing access to a variety of health care services without the need for hospitalization.
This coverage includes medical consultations, home visits, diagnostic and therapeutic tests (such as laboratory tests, ultrasounds, CT scans, or MRIs), physical medicine and rehabilitation, and other treatments specified in the policy.
3. Conditions with Extended Coverage (Benefit Limit: €300,000)
One of the main benefits of Multicare Standard Protection is coverage for conditions under the Extended Coverage plan, which provides a benefit of 300,000€ per policy year.
This coverage is intended for more complex situations, specifically cancer and cardiovascular diseases, ensuring access to the care provided for under the terms of the insurance policy. Treatment is provided by providers designated by Multicare, subject to prior authorization, which must be requested at least 14 business days in advance.
4. Online Medicine
Multicare Standard Protection includes Online Medical Care coverage at no additional cost, subject to the terms and conditions of the product.
This coverage is provided through phone or video consultations, offering access to General and Family Medicine (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Psychology. In acute situations, you should contact us by phone to ensure a faster response.
5. Preventive Medicine
Preventive Medicine coverage includes periodic screenings at no additional cost, tailored to the Insured Person’s age and current health status.
The goal is to promote the prevention and early detection of certain conditions by encouraging regular health checkups. The frequency and scope of the screenings are determined by Multicare.
